Our Foodie Night

On Friday night, Tanya and I went to our friends Nanette and Susan for a wonderful meal.  It was inspired by Annabel Langbein’s recent cook book ‘a free range life’.  We all had a great time, starting off with a pitcher of Waiheke Island Iced Tea (definitely very alcoholic), followed by a dip made from sardines, prawn wrapped chorizo on skewers, a Turkish inspired lamb salad (complete with authentic ‘tiki’ salad servers) and to finish, a velvety smooth chocolate mousse.  All washed down with plenty of red wine (Francis Ford Coppola Diamond Collection Red Label Zinfandel) and a nightcap of Jura.
